Brixton Newsboy Cap

It's Friday, Friday! Gotta get down on Friday! God, I used to hate that song, but it kind of really felt necessary today. It has been a longggg week, and I am SO glad that it is finally Friday. And you know what that means...AN ALL NEW FRIDAY FAVE!!! So, without further ado, this week's Friday Fave is my Brixton newsboy cap!

Aside from my Nike dry fit hat that I wear to the gym, I have never really been a big fan of hats. My head is kind of small, so hats are almost too big, and my hair is thin, so my ears usually poke out. Not to mention that up until about a month ago, my hair has just been too short to be able to pull off a hat. BUT, now that I'm really digging the long locks, I've decided to give hats a second chance. I didn't want to go for just any hat, and well, I mean, go big or go home. Right? I've started to notice quite a presence of newsboy hats and berets around the city lately. And while I usually don't give into fads, the newsboy hat trend is one that I'm really enjoying. I already own a beret, but it's super fuzzy and has pearls all over it, so I'm saving it for when it gets a little colder. Since, the newsboy hat doesn't require any kind of weather cues, I decided to try it out first. I wore it for the first time yesterday, and honestly, I am OBSESSED with it. You might actually find me wearing it like every other day from now on. Seriously though, just look how cute it is!
