Hiii! I’m CHEEKS—the face kind, not the butt kind, but the butt kind is nice too. Originally from North Carolina, I’m a Digital Artist based in New York City. I have a B.A. in Writing Studies, Rhetoric and Composition with a minor in Anthropology from Syracuse University. My friends and family call me Zoey.
I have an affinity for bright colors, bold shapes, and hot dogs (but that’s besides the point). I use my creative lens to share my life and the things that bring me joy, one illustration at a time. Some of those things include food, relationships and womanhood.
Although I’m self taught, I’ve always turned to art for self expression. When I was 6, I painted my neighbors mailbox green, without permission, and when I was 8, I was suspended from the school bus for drawing on someone’s forehead with a marker. Thankfully, I grew out of the vandalism phase. Now, I’m just trying to keep it peachy!
I love to draw. You love things. Let me draw things for you. Stop over on my contact page to reach out for commissions and collabs.
