These Boots Were Made for Walking
Last Saturday, I strolled down 5th ave. on a mission to find the perfect boyfriend blazer. First stop on my list: Zara. I mean I'm sure you could have guessed that on your own. I'm really trying hard not to spend money on things I don't need, so I put on my blinders and starting looking for a blazer. I found these thigh high boots...and a blazer, but come on, the boots were definitely the star of the show. And since, I got them, I have pretty much lived in them. They're ultra high and super comfy. They make for a great statement piece and make you look taller (which I am ALWAYS down for).
Now, did I really need these beauts, I mean boots? Absolutely not. BUT, I already had heeled thigh highs on my radar, so as soon as I saw them, I knew it was a match made in heaven *cue the angels singing*. I already had Stuart Weitzman suede, over the knee boots, and don't get me wrong, I LOVE THEM, but I don't want to wear them out because I'm scared of ruining them. And I mean, for $69 how could I say no? Not to mention, all of the compliments I got while wearing them, made it totally worth it. Thigh highs are honestly a fall staple, and with the bipolar weather that can't seem to make up its mind, they work as a great transitional piece out of summer and into fall. Just look at me living my best life in them!
Btw, that's the blazer I got, and if you want to know a little secret, it's from the men's department! Whenever you want a true boyfriend fit, you might as well just buy what your boyfriend would actually wear.
